「ユルメのレイデ」以来の久々のディスコ調アップナンバーとなる今作は2人が出演する(株)ダリヤ パルティのCMソングとなっています。カップリングの「The 7 Wonders」はインディーズ時代にリリースしたアナログ盤「mihimaru GT」(現在は廃盤)に収録されていた幻の作品をリテイクをし収録。

【アーティストについて】
2003年1月。
ボーカリストを目指すhirokoと、BoAなどに楽曲提供していたmiyakeが出会い結成。
POPSもHip-Hopも区別なく『普通に』聞いてきた自分達が、心から楽しめる音楽の確立を目標に活動開始。
渋谷ROCK WESTを中心にストリート、クラブ等でライブを続けながら、6月にはアナログ盤をインディーズで リリ-ス。同年7月、そのアナログ盤が偶然TVドラマのスタッフの耳に止まりメジャーデビューを果たす。
HIP!POP!をキーワードに、イノベーティヴなPOPSを目指すピースフルなユニット。

音楽番組等で、かなり耳にしましたが、僕の場合、CDでじっくり聴きたいという気持ちにはなれなかった。 内容は素晴らしいしまとまりもあります、しかし、段々とスケール小さくなって来ている様な、不安になりました。 歌詞にメッセージ性や共感を求める人、そして、聴き込める歌を期待する人なんかには、すぐ飽きる音楽になり得るかもしれません。 専門家やダンス系ミュージックの好きな人にはイイ感じかもしれない。個人的には、このタイプの楽曲は嫌いではありませんが、音楽に対して真撃な姿勢を全く感じられませんでした。 今回もやはり、軽いです…。

最初は単なるアイドルかと思ったが、曲がとてもかっこよくしかも声がとってもキュートで聞き易い。
毎朝、これを聞いて電車に乗ると自然と元気がでてくる。
最高にごきげんなナンバーです！！

自分はCMっ子？なので、CMでかかった曲が結構気になる
タイプです。この曲は一度聴いたら耳から離れません。

ユニット名ですが、miyakeの｢mi｣、hirokoの｢hi｣に船な
んかの名前に付く｢丸：maru｣を足して、さらに疾走感を
出すために｢GT｣を付けたそうですね。
