１９８７年リリースのミックジャガーソロ名義の２作目・・・バンドの一員としてのジェフベック（Ｇ）が楽しめる珍しいアルバム（笑）。このお盆に、実家の棚から何気なく選んで聴いたのがこのＣＤで、当時聴いた印象よりもかなり良かったんだなあこれが・・・今から２０年前でしょこの音、いやあカッコいい！！ジェフベック（Ｇ）・サイモンフィリップス（Ｄｒ）・ダグウィムビッシュ（Ｂ）・Ｇ．Ｅ．スミス（Ｇ：ホール＆オーツの人だよね！）・フィルアシュレー＆リチャードコトル（Ｋｅｙ）というバンドスタイルでこのアルバムを制作しているので、一本筋が通っている印象でした・・・ジェフベックのプレイは、基本的に地味なのでちょっと勿体ないかなあというのも正直な所！とは言え、ミックジャガーのアルバムにフルにジェフベックバンドが参加しているようなもんですから、そりゃ豪華の一言でしょう！！私的にはミックジャガーに思い入れはないのですが、こういうアルバムをサラッと制作してしまうのは本当凄いと思います（ストーンズのボーカルでしょ、笑）・・・当時売れっ子だったユーリズミックスのデイヴスチュワートが４曲プロデュースしている事も、このアルバムのポイントになっています（さり気ないアレンジがカッコいい！！）。曲全体の雰囲気としては、ＭＴＶにのっかりやすいまさに８０年代と言った感じ・・・でもミックジャガーが歌ってないと、話題にもならなかったかな曲調か（笑）。あらためてクレジットを見ると、アディショナルミュージシャンとしていろんな方々が・・・リズムギター：ジミーリップ・デイヴスチュワート・ヴァーノンリード、グレッグフィリゲンス（Ｋｅｙ）・デヴィッドサンボーン（Ｓａｘ）・オマーハキム（Ｄｒ／どの曲なんだろう？）・知らないけどディーンガルシア（Ｂ）等が名を連ねています。デヴィッドボウイは「ＬＥＴ’Ｓ　ＤＡＮＣＥ」だったけど、ミックジャガーは「ＬＥＴ’Ｓ　ＷＯＲＫ」かあなるほど・・・意味のない〆でした（笑）。ジェフファン・サイモンフィリップスファンも、是非押さえておきたいアルバムですね！！
