下の方がスローな曲が多く退屈、と書かれていますが、
そう思う人もいるかも、と納得できます。

しかし、彼は、彼の歌唱力で聴かせるので、
退屈とは思いません。（※「あくまでも」私は！）

Wayneの歌い方は、感情がすごいこもっていて、
恐いくらい心にズバズバ入ってきます。

スローで聞きたい、クラシックが好きって人にはお勧めかな？
きっと好き嫌いが別れる楽曲なので、お勧め！！とは書きませんが…。笑
でも、聞いてみて損はない！

That's My Goalでいきなりトップスターになった、X Factor出身者・Shayne Wardのデビューアルバム。
このアルバムも堂々の1位をゲット済み。

個人的意見で悪いんですが、周りがわあわあ言うほど、ピンとこないです。
イギリスのアイドルなんてそりゃ、カヴァーが主流だけど、あまりに多すぎないかな〜。
シングル、That's My GoalとNo Promisesもカヴァー。
そのほかAll My Life(K-Ci&JoJo),You're Not Alone(Michael Jackson),I Cry(Westlife),Back At One(Brian McKnight)。
そしてもちろん、Over The Rainbowも（笑）
とりあえず、私が分かったカヴァーはこんな感じです。
でもこの勢いだと、もうほとんど全部なんじゃないかと思ってしまう。。。
そしてバラードばかりで暗い。気が滅入っちゃう。

でもやっぱり歌は優勝者だけあって上手いです（Will Youngには負けるけど）。
Back At Oneなんかは原曲がもともと好きなのもあるけども、ソフトな歌い方は好感が持てます。
でも・・・。
なんだかやっぱりカラオケ感があって、アレンジはそのままだし、ん〜って感じは否めない。
それにいくらデビュー作でもソングライティングぐらいはできたんじゃないのかなー？
しかもなんか全体的にWestlifeっぽいなと思ったら、プロデューサーが一緒だったり。

歌は結構上手いのに個性が出ないし、分からないし。
そりゃイギリスのAmazonでも評価は下がるよね。
最近、契約を切られたGareth Gatesと同じ雰囲気があって、なんだかひどく不安でもある。
Westlifeなんかが好きな人にはオススメだし、カヴァーの原曲を知らないんだったら、好きになれる人はたくさんいると思います。
でも、これがいいアルバムか？と聞かれるとYesとは言えないなぁ。

X-Factor優勝者Shayne WardのDebut Albumです。当たり前のように1週間で20万枚強（初登場週の2位から20位のアルバムの売り上げの合計を足しても足りない。）を売り上げ全英1位を記録。全英初登場1位、4週連続1位を記録し、100万枚以上を売り上げたDebut Single”That's My Goal"。デンマークの歌手Bryan Riceのカバーで全英最高位2位を記録した”No Promises”等を収録しています。アルバム全体の感想としては、バラードが非常に多い。最初のシングル曲2曲が強烈過ぎるので後半に連れて退屈になる。まぁ最後のOver The Rainbowで何とか持ち直す感じです。このてのオーディション番組出演者は1st albumで自分のやりたいことをやるのが難しいので、2ndに期待したいです。
