ETTRE(G,B,Key,Dr,クリーンVo)、BJOHN(デスVo)、CLAUDIO(バッキングVo,作詞)の3名からなるイタリアのメロデスプロジェクトバンドの3rd。前作に比べて疾走曲が増えましたね。嬉しい事に今回もデス声はSOILWORKのBJOHNが担当しています。前作から既にメロデスとエモの完全融合とゆースタイルを成功させていた彼らですが、今回もまたそのスタイルは崩さず、むしろ何十倍にも昇華させて更なるブルータリティとエモーショナリティの高次元バトルを見せつけた渾身の力作の登場です。BJOHNの獣のごときデス声が凄まじい速度でドゥワーっと暴れ回ったかと思うと、サビでは一転してETTREのエモーショナルクリーンボイスが暖かくそっと歌い上げる。こんなクロスオーバーな事やってるメロデスバンドなんて世界中でもディサルぐらいしかいなんじゃないかなぁ。もはやメロデスとゆーより新ジャンルに近い完成度です。そのうち“エモデス”なんてゆー形容でもされ出すんじゃないでしょうか(笑) おそらくそう遠くないうちにインフレイムス・チルドレンオブボドムのような世界をまたにかけているメロデス勢と肩を並べる存在になると思いますよ。

前作も素晴らしい内容だったが、今作は更に磨きがかかったメロディに注目です。元々エトア率いるバンドですが、やはりスピードの存在が大きい。彼のシャウトも最早芸術的。メロデス、メロディアスなロックが好きな方に是非勧めたい。

　ムンディの新作。もちろん今回もSOILWORKのビヨルン”スピード”
ストリッドが全面参加。

　曲は悪くはないんですけど、なんか、左の耳から右の耳にスーッ
と抜けるような感じです。聴きやすくなった分、耳への引っ掛かりが
なくなった、というべきか、単に期待値が高すぎたのか、
最近似た系統のバンドを聴きすぎたので食傷気味だったのか。

　ムンディにはもう少し「ギターが炸裂」して欲しかったな、
と思います。こじんまりまとまっちゃったような気が。

　各サイトではかなり好意的なレビューが目立ちますね。
最近、世間の評価と自分の評価が一致しないことが多いです。
それが良いとか悪いとかではありませんが(笑)

　とりあえず、私としてはムンディ未経験者に「初めてのムンディ」
としてオススメするなら前作、「FRAGMENTS OF D-GENERATION」
を推します。
