メンフィスに降り立った歌姫。
これは、一時的にこういう方向性を出しただけなんですよね？

と思いたい。何だ、この唐突感は。

この人の良さに全く合わないです。プライマルスクリームの散々な評価だった４枚目みたいだ。ブルースやファンクやゴスペルを指向するのは悪くはないと思うけれど，直球勝負したら勝てないっていうか、絶対無理。もっとこう、変化球で責めていかないと。

この路線は和田アキ子的なタイプじゃなきゃまず形にならないというか。

まあ、失敗ということで，次に期待したいところ。

でも多分このまま修正かけられないままアルバムリリースまで行っちゃうんだろうなあ。

彼女のイメージかなり変わりましたね。
なんかよく分からない。
何を目指しているんだろうって思います。
それにチャリーティーソングって感じがしないのは私だけ？
ただ単に中島美嘉のゴスペル披露みたいな感じがします。

中島美嘉BEST発表後、第2弾シングル
今回のシングルの収益の一部はニューオリンズ復興支援に使われます。
曲は前作に引き続きソウルフルなナンバーに仕上がっています。
BEST以降、曲調ががらっと変わった気がします。
カップリングには有名な名曲、WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
色々な人がカバーしてますが中島美嘉verもいいですねー
