やっと巡り会える「悪魔城ドラキュラ（アーケード版）」
かつてゲーセンでは出回った数も少なかったらしく、あっという間に消えてしまいましたので一度もプレイできませんでした。
近所のゲーセンには入荷しませんでしたのでゲーム情報誌で動かない画面をただただ見つめるしかなかったのでした。
かなりの年月が経ち、基盤という物があるのを知り買おうとも思いましたが、知った頃にはプレミアがついており（今もそうですか？）かなりの高額でしたのでとても手の出せるしろものではありませんでした。
そして今、俺たちゲーセン族で蘇る、、、、（しかも２０００円）なんと感動的でしょうか。
ついついこんな台詞も出ちゃうってもんです。「約２０年、待っていた！もうすぐ行くぞ、覚悟しておけ！！ドラキュラ！！！」

※でもこういう古いゲームはちょっとやると飽きるのも事実。
　コレクション的意味も含めて私は購入します。

懐かしいですね。昔ゲーセンで稼働してた時期、私はまだ青臭い子供だったものでドラキュラの世界観が怖く感じ、プレイ出来ませんでした。しかし勇気を振り絞ってプレイしてみるとこれがハマりまして。当時のグラフィックを思い出すとまるでキャラが本当に生きてるかのような、壮大な音楽はまた、ドラキュラの面白さを生かしています。難しいです。なにしろ死んだら即ゲームオーバーなんで。しかし敵のパターンを理解さえすれば驚くほどスムーズに進めるはず。子供時代の興奮、ドラキュラの硬派難易度は、私に久々の興奮を与えてくれました。

移植の忠実度など、アーケード版に詳しくないのでその辺りは他のレビュワーさんのコメントに譲りたいと思いますが、個人的にはとても楽しめました。

元々、ドラキュラ・シリーズは昔から好きでシリーズの概ねのタイトルはプレイしてきましたが、基盤がないとできないこちらのゲームは未プレイでずっとやりたいと感じており、今回の移植を待ち望んでいました。

値段としては、いろいろなオマケが付いてリーズナブル、しかもゲーム自体も結構やりこんで（3 週間程度）十分元が取れた感じです。

ゲーム内容としては、キャラクターのデザインがいくらか洗練されていない印象を受けますが、ゲーム自体の演出・難度等のバランスはとてもよくできていると思います。アーケードは、難しいからと敬遠されがちですが、寧ろこのゲームの難度は家庭用ゲーム向けに近いので誰でも、気軽に楽しめるかと思います。
