最初の出会いは、アニメのシムーンでした。
OPでの歌のタイトルが「美しければそれでいい」
なんて潔いタイトルなんだろう！　とこれだけで感動した記憶はまだ鮮明です。

その上、これはアニメの絵と本当は一体として見た方が真価が分かるかと思われるのですが、アニメのシムーンの微妙な世界（人はみな女性として生まれ、大人（男か女か）になる前の少女期のみ、シムーンで空を飛ぶことができる）の不可思議さと、哀しみと、全てを表現しきっていると思います。

『痛みから遠く逃れようとしても』逃れられないから、『未来と指切りするのはやめた』という、吐息のような歌声には、哀しみなのか、それとも絶望なのか。おそらくは、モラトリアムとしての少女期への訣別をも含んでいるかのような歌に聞こえてきます。

何故か、ふと涙したくなる不思議な曲です。お勧めです。

現在、テレビ東京で放映されているアニメ「シムーン」のオープニング曲です。シムーンを見ている人はわかるかもしれませんが、シリアスな内容の作品と曲がとても合っていると感じます。

とても綺麗な曲です。この曲は石川さん自身が作詞作曲をされています。彼女の声の特質を活かした曲調になっており、歌詞も心に響き、何回聞いてもあきません。
