5.0 out of 5 stars 進化ではなく深化, 2008/10/9
前作が非常に垢抜けていただけにまた地味渋路線かと思いきや、
まるでギタポなM5があったりと、自分達の経験をうまく消化できている気がします。
今では活動をアメリカに移してDave Matthews Bandの前座をやったりと、
すっかり米国が持つ大陸性に染まってしまったようにも思えますが、
彼らの持ち味である繊細さ、こだわりは今作でも全く失われていません。

今活動している中堅バンドの中で、個人的には一番「英米折衷」を体現できているバンドだと感じます。本当に素晴らしいバンドです。

5作目となる本作は ひじょうに渋いものになった。
もともとすべての作品が地味渋であるが 前作が垢抜けていただけに 渋さが目立つ。
しかし いい意味で彼らの個性を凝縮しているので 彼らの歌心がストレートに伝わってくる。
中堅となり 若年寄の個性も より自然にでてきた なんとも頼もしい存在になったものだ。
ここまで信頼できるｕｋの中堅はスーパーファリーアニマルズと彼らだけだろう。
ベテランになったらどのような作品を残すのか今から楽しみだ。
