Kalmahはデビュー当時からその独自の音楽性に注目していたが，今作はヴォーカルがよりへヴィにブルータルになってすばらしい．

イン・フレイムスは嫌いではないのだけど，少し軽いのがいまひとつはまりきれないのだが，カルマーは充分なへヴィネスも持っているし，メランコリックなメロディーもかっこいい．

群雄割拠のメロデスシーンにおいて，イン．フレイムス，チルボト，アークエネミーといった大御所に並びうる存在．

フィンランドのメロディック・デスメタルバンドの4thアルバム。
今回も全曲で、アンティ・コッコのギターが冴え渡り、Kalmah節が炸裂しています。
特に9曲目はその真骨頂。叙情的という言葉がぴったりはまる、メロディが最高です。
ただ、前作よりはフックのある曲が少なくなったかも。

フィンランドのメロディックデスメタルバンド、カルマの最新作。今回もコッコ兄弟のメランコリックメロディが冴え渡る!また前回からの発声法を変えたため、格段に良くなっている!まるでヴェイダーのような重低音デスヴォイスにメロディが絡み付き本当に最高!!インフレイムス、チルボドは軽すぎる…アークエネミーは重すぎる…なんていうかたにオススメ!哀愁感漂うメロディにイチコロのはず!是非買ってください!曲で特にオススメは1.3.6.11。題曲の「The Black Waltz」なんて、クサすぎて泣けます!これからも俺を魅了してくれ!カルマ!
