噺家・桂歌若が原作を手掛ける落語を題材にした美少女変身アクションアニメ第1巻。桂歌丸師匠に弟子入りしたいと思っている落語好きな女子高生・月島唯は、ある日突然、妖魔が暴れ回る幕末の江戸にタイムスリップしてしまう。第1話と第2話を収録。

落語芸術協会75周年記念企画。妖魔・妖怪の戦いが繰り広げられていた幕末の江戸時代を舞台に、言葉を武器にして戦う“落語天女”の活躍を描いたアニメーション。現代に暮らす普通の女の子たちが宝珠の導きによって幕末へ召還される。果たして“落語天女”として覚醒した彼女たちは希望を与える言葉の力で、幕末の世界を救えるのか!?

　おおお！！なんという中途半端。どこもかしこもびみょー。落語を中心にそえて、落語ものアニメを作るっていう発想は斬新かもしれないけど、さてそれでどんなことをするのってことになるとありがちな美少女ヒーローもの。まだ落語がどんなふうに物語に関わってくるかは見えないけど、落語家がアクションをこなしてること自体、演芸美少女の演芸って部分はお飾りになる気配濃厚なわけで。大物落語家が出てはいるんだけど、それに見合ったストーリーがあるようには見えないし、これまたネームバリューだのみの中途半端で無難なキャスティングもあいまって、これからがとても不安だ。アクションはあるんだけど、動きもそんなに目をひかない。どこかで見たことあるストーリーを、どこかで見たことある演出で表現しても陳腐感ただようのはどうしようもないなぁ。それで時代考証がしっかりしてるとか、画面にオリジナリティが見えることもないんで、ムリな設定はムリのまま「サムライチャンプルー」のように独特の魅力やリアリティーを放つこともない。こんな作品にあっていちばんの見どころは大島美和氏のキャラデぐらいでしょう。でも大島氏の魅力はむしろ止め画のほうにあるように思う。わざわざこんな設定でアニメを一本作ってやろうっていうチャレンジ精神は買うけども、それじゃあ中身はどうかってなると、やっぱりひと言、びみょー、って一語に尽きるんだよなぁ。

　確かに落語への妙な持ち上げ方が不自然ではありましたが「スポンサー」の意向に逆らう訳にも
いかないとは思いますし、まぁ許容範囲ではないかと思います。
　基本的には１巻の２話までにストーリー的には「文系女子の青春物語」と言う事で間違っては
いないと思います。
　青春と言うものは多少は暴走するものですし、むしろアニメ作品としてはこれ位は暴走した方が
良いとは思えます。
　歌丸師匠に至っては、多少落語口調なのは気にかかりましたが、何十年も話すのを仕事に
している方ですし、そこまでの違和感は無くむしろアニメ口調に慣れきっている方には新鮮に聞こえる
のではないかと思います。
　何につけても「意欲的な作品」だったと思えますので星５個でお願いします。
