黒沢清の『ＣＵＲＥ』とか、サイコサスペンス映画の中には面白い作品も一定量はあるのだが、面白くなくただ単に
「サイコサスペンスっぽい体裁」を整えることに終始してしまう作品もある。
この作品は残念ながらその後者。

「サイコだから」動機がわけ分からん。「サイコだから」トリックの種明かしもされない。
このジャンルの作り手が戦わなければならないのは、この「サイコだから」ということが免罪符となることで、
サスペンスとしての基本的なことが押さえられないままに、何でも許されてしまう世界観と物語を増殖させたくなるという誘惑だと思う。
この映画の作り手たちは残念ながらその誘惑にまけてしまった、といっても過言ではない。

確かに『ＣＵＲＥ』も、劇中で何から何まで謎が解き明かされていたわけではない（むしろあの映画で萩原聖人の起こしたことの
すべての謎を役所浩司が解き明かしていたらつまらなかっただろう）。

面白いサイコサスペンスは、見終えた後にそれら解き明かされなかった謎が、
私たちの心の中で独特の「後味の悪さ」を醸成してくれる。
「半分はわかって、半分は分からない」こと。
それこそがサイコサスペンスの醍醐味ではないだろうか。

どうでもいいが、妙にテカテカした頭の俳優がいると思ったら、鳥肌実だった。

発想はおもしろい
ただ、もうすこし、登場人物を多くして、おちがわからないようにするとか、なぞを解き明かす刑事たちの切迫感をもっと描くなどして、映画として、完成させた形にしてほしかった。
最後も殺人者に対する、憎悪がいきなり消えたりして、意味不明だった。

ただ、役者陣が豪華なため、かれらの表情を見るだけでも価値があり、途中で見るのを投げ出そうとは思わなかった。

序盤は脚本がうまく構成されていて、深まる謎が
後々の伏線になるのだと思わされ、入り込めました。
でも後半の展開というか、オチがしっくりこない。
前半楽しく見れただけに、残念な感想を抱きました。

出演者は、「役者」というイメージの人たちが揃っていて、
演技もさすがでした。それだけにもったいない作品でした。
