　2ndのインパクトが強すぎたせいか、比較的同じ路線を踏襲した今作は、どうしても印象として落ち着いた感じになってしまう。
また、美メロ、ポップさを強調したため、激しさや圧倒さのフーバスタンク節をより期待するファンには少し物足りないかもしれない。
しかし、メロディの美しさは相変わらず光るものがあるし、フーバス節もやはり健在である。
あとはライブでこれらの曲群がどう映えるかに期待したい（サマソニも来るので）。
DVD付きのデラックス盤はライブ映像やPVも充実してるので買いである。

ベーシストの不在が関係しているのかどうかは分からないが、３作目にして、楽曲は拡散方向にある。
美メロとヘヴィネスの程良いバランスをして『フーバスタンク節』とするのなら、前作収録のシングル「ザ・リーズン」での大ヒットを意識したためか、今作は若干、歌メロに比重が傾いている。疾走感のあるリフ中心の楽曲も減ったために、インパクト自体は前作よりも弱いが、収録曲はさまざまなタイプのよく練られた楽曲ばかり。先行シングル「イフ・アイ・ワー・ユー」が霞むほどに、よく聴けば楽曲群は充実している。また、前作まで使われなかった楽器の導入や、楽曲間のＳＥなど、アルバム・トータルを意識した作りにもなっていて、自分たちの新たな可能性を模索した意欲作と言えるだろう。前作での成功に胡座をかくことなく、ひたむきにチャレンジする姿は素晴らしい。
ステインドやインキュバスなど、コーン、レイジ、リンプ後のバンド達が普遍的なロックに接近していったように、フーバスタンクも徐々にその音楽性を進化させていくのだろう。リフ、アルペジオ、コード・ストロークなどギター・アプローチのフレキシブルさからも、個人的には８０年代のＨＲを純粋に踏襲したバンドだと思っているんだけどね。
ちなみに、ＤＶＤはサマソニ０４のライブ映像も含むボリューム満点の内容。今年のサマソニはマンソン＆スリップノット以来の衝撃ラインナップ（フーバスタンク含む）だし、予習のためにも、これは買いでしょ。

いままでのアルバムがすごく気に入ってて、この三枚目に期待より不安が大きかったです。 買って聴いてみると…がっかり。 久しぶりに聴いてみた。 …いいじゃん。 結果、全曲好きになったけど特に『If Only』がすばらしかった。 機会があればぜひ
