リミックス・アルバムなのでもとになっているオリジナル盤があるわけですが、そちらは未聴ながらこれ単体でなかなか楽しめます。
様々なリミキサーが参加していますが、基本的にはクラブ・ジャズっぽい音が多く統一感があって聞きやすいです。
激しいわけでなく、でもリズムに重点を置いたアレンジになっているので心地よく乗れるトラックが並んでいます。
ヴォーカルは堅実でそつなく歌いますが、よく比較されるらしいエリカ・バドゥやジル・スコットなどより幅広さに欠け、
個性や魅力といった点で劣っていると言わざるを得ません。
しかしこのアルバムに関しては、クラブ・ミュージック特有のある種の匿名性と上手く調和していて、
その歌声が気持ちよく音楽を聞ける一因になっているように思います。
気楽に流せる歌モノのクラブ・ミュージックが好きな方は是非聞いてみて下さい。
