買ってよかった!って思える一枚です(^-^)
Back to bedlamに収録されていた曲はもちろん、未収録の曲も3曲収録でファンなら大満足すること間違いなしです!
ライブ音源なので、Back to bedlamとは違った雰囲気になってるのもいいなぁと思いました。
ミュージックビデオやインタビュー、ドキュメンタリーも入っているので、本当におすすめです!

「You're Beautiful」のPV映像目当てで買いましたが、
他にも素敵な曲と映像満載で、この２枚組を入門編として買っても損はない
と思います。

ジェイムス・ブラントはジャケ写でもわかるようにたいへん美男子ですが、
それだけではない、一種の狂気をはらんだ詩魂というか、
世間と相容れない悲しみのようなものが、その歌いざま、映像から伝わってきます。
そういう意味で、「You're Beautiful」のPVはたいへん説得力のある映像になっています。
「You're Beautiful」の歌詞の内容は、

自殺を決意した男（ぼく）が、死地に向かう電車のなかで、
かねてより思いをはせていた美しいあなたに、たまたま出くわします。
他の男と一緒にいるあなたは、一瞬だけぼくにほほえみかけてくれます。
他の男といるなんて気にならない、だってぼくにはもう計画があるからね。
でも最後に見かけたあなたは本当に美しかった、とても美しかった、本当だ、
かなわぬ恋だったけれども、
ぼくは最後にあなたと一瞬だけ永遠の時間を共有したのだ、
ぼくはあなたといることはできない、ぼくはもう死ぬのだから。
でもぼくの人生は輝いているよ、ぼくの愛は純粋だ。

というものかと思いますが、そうした世界はＰＶ映像によって
完璧に補完されていると思われます。それぐらい説得力のあるＰＶです。
必見ですね。

　DVDとCDの二枚組みで、どちらも内容が充実しているので「バック･トゥ・ベッドラム」を聴いていない方でも彼の魅力を存分に感じられる作品だと思います。DVD映像の中では「ハイ」のPV(オリジナルバージョン）が、深いストーリー性があって面白いと感じました。また、それぞれのPVにメイキング映像も収録されており、その映像からジェイムスのお茶目なシーンも見られたので良かったです。CDはアコースティックライブの音源で、渋い大人の雰囲気が漂っています。なかでも「ノー･ブレイヴリー」は、歌詞が分からない状態で聴いても彼の怒りや悲しみが伝わってきます。曲が進行するにつれて彼の感情が高ぶっていく様子が分かり、心に響きました。
　このDVDとCDがそれぞれ独立した商品でも十分立派な作品になると思うので、二枚セットでこの値段は絶対お得だと思います。
