　第１巻と第２巻も実に良かったのですが第３巻はそれにまして実に良かった。
　おそらく、この第３巻になって、ある主題が一つ加わってます。
　それは「失うことへの恐怖」だと思われます。
　それが加わったことでストーリーそのものへの深みが格段に増しています。
　失うものは色々です。人生であったり、希望であったり、そして「命」であったりと。
　結局に夏目は過去の経験から、その恐怖を知り尽くした人間。
　そして、その恐怖を味あわせる事が嫌なので、もう二度と彼女に会うなと伝える。
　多分、これは優しさなんだとは思います。
　例が良くないのですが、犬を拾ってきた子供に「死んだ時、可哀想だから飼ってはいけません」っていう母親の心境と同じだと思うんですよ。
　病気でもう永く無い事が判明した彼女と付き合えば、その「最期」はすぐにやってくる。
　しかし、その最期の時までは必ず幸福がある。
　恋愛という物はあくまで自分のためではなく相手のために行う物です。
　どのような代償を払おうとも、最期までその相手を幸せにすると決めた恋愛に対する姿勢が良かったのだと思います。
　作中に名言があるんですよ。
　「何もかもを持ってるくせにそれに気がつかないなんてねぇ・・・」
　近い未来にその「両手｣から滑り落ちると決まっていてもその両手で掴む事を決める少年の素晴らしい物語でした。

突然の発作に倒れてしまった里香。
里香の容態が安定した後も裕一は里香と会うことを禁止される。
そこで、亜希子さんは１分間だけ里香と会うことを許す。
里香は笑顔で迎えてくれるが、やはり衰弱の色が隠せない。

そして、再び里香と会うことを禁止される。

里香と裕一が歩む未来は…。
