約1 年もの歳月をかけて創られた、2年半ぶりのリリースとなるニューアルバム。収録されたのは、畠山自身の手による楽曲はもちろん、青柳拓次(LITTLE CREATURES)、中納良恵(EGO-WRAPPIN')、永積タカシ(ハナレグミ)、原田郁子(クラムボン)、堀込泰行(キリンジ)といった、彼女の盟友達が書き下ろした名曲の数々。ひとつひとつの音の粒子を大切に紡いで創られた、凛として堂々とした、聴く人の心をやさしく包み込むような珠玉の作品集。

【アーティストについて】
4歳から歌いはじめ、20歳過ぎから作詞・作曲を開始。インディーズシーンで絶大な支持を得るユニットPort of Notesや10人編成のダンスホール楽団Double Famousのヴォーカリストとして活躍、2001年9月にSINGLE「輝く月が照らす夜」でソロ・デビュー。その後も自身のソロ作品リリースはもちろん、様々なアーティストとのコラボレーション活動も積極的に行い、その唯一無二の透明感溢れる歌声と圧倒的な存在感は音楽シーンの中で確固たる地位を築いている。

畠山美由紀を少しでも「イイな」と思った事がある人なら、間違いなく買いだ
Port of Notesの時よりもしっとりと歌い上げている印章。
作品全体に漂う包み込むような緩やかな空気感は、
聞く人の心を落ち着かせて、優しい気持ちにしてくれる。
その空気感はDVD収録のPVにもよく現れていると思う。

穏やかで優しく楽曲の数々は、万人の音楽的趣向を超越して、全ての人の心を打つはず。


綺麗に晴れた休日の午後、読書しながら聞きたいね！
きっと、何時の間にか居眠りしてしまうだろうなぁ。
気持ち良さそう。

その歌唱力だけでもCDを購入する価値のある希有なアーティスト、畠山さんの待望のサードアルバム。
ファーストは初々しさとport of nortsの影響を感じさせる創り、セカンドは一転して思いの伝わるヴォーカルアルバムでしたが、今作はセカンドの延長線上、というか、彼女のソロアーティストとしての方向性が決まった事を感じさせる、そんな作品です。

個性的な作曲陣を迎えた一枚という事もセールスポイントになっていますが、印象的なのはやはり声。
どの曲も彼女が歌うとまるでスタンダードナンバーのよう。
収録曲も素晴らしいものばかりです。
おすすめは彼女のペンによる楽曲。個人的には3がベストトラックです。

個人的には、夢のはかなさに時間が経つのが惜しい気持ち、そんな感情にも似た気持ちが心に過る作品でした。

文句なしに最高傑作でしょう。歌の良さはもちろん、楽曲の安定感が際立っています。前作までは曲の差がややありましたね。先行シングルとしてなぜ２をチョイスしたのかが不思議に思われるくらいです。楽曲提供者もそうそうたる面子です。もちろん自作もあります。そうした曲達が極自然に流れていきます。この凛としたたたずまいと男っぷりは歌手として際立っていますねえ。姉御ではないけど嬢といったところです。TV露出はほとんどありませんが今後も期待していますよ。
