サンタクロースの扮装で銀行を襲撃した木俣と佐川。ふたりは盗んだお金を、ストリートミュージシャンの佐村から盗んだ小銭を使ってコインロッカーに隠すが、ロッカーの鍵は、ふたりを追いかけた沢村の手に渡ってしまう。その彼を木場と星野というふたりの刑事が車ではねた！ その後、川に流される沢村を見つけたのは、自殺しようとしていたトラック運転手の平松。彼は流れてくる沢村の姿がキリストにソックリだったため、神様と思い込む。一方、木俣と佐川は逮捕されるが、取調室に来たのは木場と星野だった…。
デビュー作『弾丸ランナー』から、SABU監督の主人公はひたすら走ってきた。それは主人公がアイドルグループ、V6になっても同じ。『ハードラックヒーロー』でも組んだV6ゆえ、彼らの魅力を監督は百も承知！ それぞれの個性をいかしつつ、SABUワールドの色を損ねずに、ユーモアと疾走感に溢れたアクションコメディを作り上げた手腕はお見事。ひとつの強盗事件に複雑にからみあう6人もそれぞれ熱演。古田新太、香椎由宇、森本レオ、伊藤歩など、わきをしめる役者陣も豪華で、すみずみまで楽しめる。（斎藤 香）
