　1stも勢いがあってよかったですが、今回は本当に成長したというか、貫禄があって、余裕があって、さらに磨きがかかっている感じです。4.Phenomenaのギターが最高です。これからもいろんな面を見せてほしいです！

控えめに言って傑作。前作である程度の成功を収めたガレージパンク・スタイルをあっさりと切り捨てた果ての野心的なポップ・アルバムです。前作のアルバム後半で見られた音楽的な素養の深さを抽出しつつも、スタイルの呪縛を捨て去った勢いで無理やりに加速した、前作同様な性急感に満ちたYYYならではの作品。ほとんど全曲良いけど、特に素晴らしいのは7、11。国内盤に入ってるボーナストラックは前作の没曲みたいで、このアルバムには必要ないかも。11でおしまいのほうがいい。

セクシャルにして強烈な存在感を放つフロントマン、カレンO嬢を擁するNYの3ピース/YYYsの3年ぶりとなる2ndアルバム。キワモノ世界との境界上で、クレバーなアート・パンクをブチ撒けた前作からガラリ雰囲気を変え、貫禄という単語さえチラホラ脳裏に浮ぶような、熟した音塊を叩き出している。

暴発寸前のソリッドなリフの連射により、クールに昂揚神経を刻みまくった1stアルバムから一転、タメの効いたミドルテンポのアンサンブルが総身を厚いグルーヴで包み込む"Gold Lion"により幕開け。前作においては、ともすればブチ切れ感のみが強くフォーカスされがちだったカレンOだが、今作でギター/ドラムによってタイトに引き締められた骨太なグルーヴは、彼女の類稀な声のポテンシャルをハッキリと際立たせる。陽性のヴァイタリティに満ちた楽曲群は、どれも水面下での爆発を思わせる秘めた強靭性を孕んで聴き手の昂揚感に揺さぶりをかけ、ストレートに熱量を放射する。

浮遊感を纏ったギターリフが流麗に流れるTr.7"Dudley"でのキラメキや、もう我慢ならねえと言わんばかりにギターが吼え、カレンOの一瞬のエクスタシーが爆発的な推進力をもって空間を染め上げる"Mystery"など、スパイシーな効果に満ちた中盤部もまた素晴らしい。楽曲の高いクオリティ、真っ直ぐな昂揚感が発露された今作は、まさしく躍進の一枚！と喝采を贈りたくなるようなナイスな一枚。
