　メル・ブルックスのプロデュースと音楽というクレジットだが、監督も主役も全て、メル・ブルックスの影武者がやっているような作品で好きな人には最高！苦手な人は…。
　「ヤング・フランケンシュタイン」からのファンなので、彼の悪趣味でしつこいギャグも、素敵な女優さん（今回はユマ・サーマン！）を唯の頭の悪いセクシー女優にしてしまうところも大好きです。はまったら涙を流しながら笑ってしまうこと請け合いです。
　「3.ウィ・キャン・ドゥ・イット」のワクワク感、「5.グーテンターグ・ホップ=クロップ」のばかばかしくもついリズムに乗ってしまう強引さ、爆笑し始めの「6.キープ・イット・ゲイ」、ユマ・サーマンにドキドキしてしまう「7.あたしのお宝を見せちゃうわ」、そして大掛かりにして品の無いこれぞメル・ブルックス！という「13.ハイル我輩」！このヒトラー役には参りました。劇中のお客と一緒で涙が止まりません。
　クレジットが終わったあとも見逃せませんよ！一番最後の「23.キング・オブ・ブロードウェイ」まで見てくださいね。最後の最後に○○が出てきます。

私はプロデューサーズというミュージカルを、最近公開されてる映画でしったのですが、ツボをつつきまくりのめちゃくちゃにはまってしまいました。

映画では映像の楽しさに目がいっておりましたが、サントラを聴いて改めて曲のよさ、歌い手さんの上手さにノックアウトです。しかも、映画で使用されなかった曲…

A Kid's Review
The Producersは一番好きなミュージカルなので、Original Broadway Cast Recording盤も持っていますが、こちらのサウンドトラックの方がゴージャスでわくわく感があります。
Original Broadway Cast Recording盤とは収録曲にも若干の違いがあって、こちらはPrisoner's of Loveの後に、There's Nothing Like a Show on BroadwayとThe Hop-Clop Goes Onが続き、余韻を楽しむことが出来ます。
伝統的なブロードウェイ・ミュージカルの雰囲気を保ちつつ、はちゃめちゃなコメディの楽しさが、音だけで十分に伝わってきますよ。
メル・ブルックスのファンの方だけでなく、アメリカンなショーの世界が好きな方にお勧めです！
