以前にリリースされたlive albumは、compilationの形で構成されたために統一性がなく充分に楽しめるものではなかった。
当時はlive albumがこの作品しかなかったが、本作品は一公演を収めた内容になっているので、素晴らしい。

いつか、girls, girls, girls tourやdr. feelgood tourといった全盛期の一公演丸ごと収めたlive albumもリリースしてもらいたいです。

僕はリアルタイムでモトリーを聴いていた訳ではないので、全盛期の彼らのライヴを見れなかったというのは本当に残念です。聴き始めたころにはもうヴィンスはいなかった・・・。
再結成後のヴィンスは見た目も声もちょっと・・・、って感じでしたし。
でもここでのヴィンスはよく声が出ていてうれしくなりました。
ただこのライヴアルバムの主役は間違いなくミックのギターでしょう。
ここでのミックのギターはまさに全盛期の「あの」ギターサウンドだと思います。
つまりドクターフィールグッドのときのサウンドなんです。
こうやって見ると、曲を作ってるのはニッキーだけど、サウンドの核はやっぱりミックだったんだなぁと実感します。
とにかく素晴らしいので一聴の価値ありですよ！！
