元々HURRICANE PARTYと名乗っていたイギリスのバンドですが、アメリカで起こったハリケーンの影響を考えて改名して、この名前になったそうです。そう意味では、今年デビューの新人バンドとしてとらえてもいいと思います。
内容は、まさに古き良きブリティッシュ・ロックへのレスペクトを感じさせ、一部ではエアロスミス当たりの影響も見え隠れしています。全曲平均点以上のクオリティーを有しており、とにかくギターのリフがカッコいい曲が多いと思います。個人的には３連の"Liar"がお薦めですが、もし興味がある方は聴いてみてください。
欧米からはイキのいい、次世代のバンドが次々に出てきているのに、我が日本は？？そちらの方が心配です・・・。

某サイトのレビューでは、そんな風にこのバンドを評していた。しかし上記のようなバンドが好みの方には推薦できない。このレビューはその立場からの評価させていただいた。
確かにレトロなサウンドだし、今風ではないが、クラシックロックの後継者や、サザンロックなどと銘打たれている事には納得がいかない。聴いた事のあるフレーズ、歌いまわしが使われていたり、B級・マイナー感が漂っており王道を行く感じでもない。幅広い層に受け入れられるバンドでもないだろう。
メタルファンの方がウケがいいかもしれない。
