最初の曲3121からして殿下は私を楽しませてくれました。
このなんともかんともいいようのない殿下らしいサウンドがまた来たという感じです。
そしてつぎに続くLolita！私はこの曲がけっこう好きです。
プリンスのワンマン録音らしいです。あまりに印象が強すぎてその後もずっと頭の中を廻っていました。
全作のミュージコロジーとは全然ちがいます。
前回はおとなしめだったけれど、今回はかなり元気な殿下です。
私まだ子供ですけど子供でもこの良さに浸れます。
買って損はない！

今までの彼の音楽も「あらゆるジャンルを超えた」感じはもちろんあ
ったのだが、これほどまでに完成された形で「超えちゃった」アルバ
ムはないのでは？

聴いてると'For You'から始まる今までの彼の歴史や、それ以外にも
ブルース・R&B・ロックンロールなど様々なジャンルの要素や歴史を
感じる事が出来、そして「それらを超えた新しい何か」が、今までの
彼のどのアルバムよりも完成されたカタチで表現されている。

このテの音楽は実験性が強すぎて一部のマニア受けになりがちだけど
、このアルバムはラジオやカーステで流してもおかしくない’誰にで
も開かれたカタチ’になってるのがまた凄いところだね！

こんな事が出来るのは世界中見渡しても彼しかいない！！！

閉塞感のある現在の音楽シーンに「音楽の新しいカタチ」を示した歴
史的なアルバムだと思うよ。

80年代からプリンスの音楽を楽しんできた私としては、今作は自らのキャリアを総括しながら、さらに洗練された世界を目指している印象を受けました。
確実に10歳は若返っている力強さが全体的に満ちており、まだまだ現役可能であることをうかがわせます。
彼にしか作れない音楽が広く受入れられ、結果的に久しく遠のいていた全米ナンバー･ワンの座を再び獲得したのは長年のファンとしては非常に嬉しく思います。
