とにかく”リアル”な一枚! “入魂゛の一枚! だ。HRやHMファンは、自分も含めて、
技巧や何やといったことにこだわる聴き方をするものだが、SAEKOのアルバムに
関しては、そういう聴き方がいかに浅薄かを知らされる。
「LIFE」というタイトル通り、アルバムの中には、孤独の中で迷い悩み、懺悔し、
絶望し、それでも希望や愛を求めて歩き続けようとする…生身のSAEKOがそっくり
存在している。まさに全編が哀切のシャウトで満たされているといっても過言ではない。
パワフルに歌い上げる曲、怒りを爆発させ激しくシャウトする曲、又少女の願いにも
似た清らかな印象の曲にさえ、その背後にSAEKOの啜り泣きが聴こえるのだ。
「WANNA BE FREE」という自由を希求する曲さえ、自由を縛る社会システムetc
の外的要因から逃れたいとは言わず、強烈な自我から解き放たれたいと詠う。
「LIFE」は、アグレッシブで、攻撃性に満ちた音楽…というHR、HMの常識を破り
深い精神性を感じさせるアルバムとなっている。
メッセージ性の強い歌詞の曲をエモーショナルに歌い上げる正統メロディックパワー
メタル路線だが、SAEKOの中の”和”の要素とジャーマンの要素の融合した味わいが新鮮。
また曲毎に異なる歌唱でドラマティックに歌い上げる行きかたはSAEKO独自の世界だろう。
作詞、作曲、Voのみならず、ブックレットの隅々にまでSAEKOカラーが溢れかえる
真にクリエイティブなミュージシャンによる“あっぱれ”な一枚である。

女Voであることを生かしもしていない半端なサウンド。
退屈な曲にメリハリのない歌唱が合わさって実に眠たくなる。
メタル好きで単身ドイツに渡って頑張ってるのは認めるが、曲も歌も実に半端。
もう少し自分の特性を掴んで、自分に合った曲を作ってもらうべきでは。

私は日本人の女性がボーカルやっているというのを見て興味を引かれ視聴版を聞いてみたのですがまず音に惹かれないし（古臭く聞こえる）そして演奏自体もすごく下手に聞こえます・・・期待したのでかなりがっかりです一枚通して聞くのはよほど波長の合う人ではないと厳しいと思います。
