山小屋に遊びにやって来た若者グループを襲う謎の伝染病の恐怖！日常から突如、非日常へ引き込まれた人間がどのような選択をとるかを登場人物それぞれが表していて興味深い。また社会風刺的な一面もあり、非常事態に集団が自らの安全確保のために個人に対してどんな扱いをするかを問い、それがどんな結果をもたらすかを揶揄する場面は面白い。後半事態が妙に広範囲に拡大し、その一方、主要人物の描写が乱雑になっていく点は残念。しかし、それはかつてのゾンビ映画のテイストを取り入れようとする製作者の意図とも考えられるのでセーフとしたい。
