曲を聴いているだけでその情景が浮かんでくる、平井堅らしい曲。
悲しくて、切ない・・。
最愛の人を失い心が空っぽになってしまった彼の感情が伝わってくる感じです。
実際にこんな経験したらきっと耐えられないだろうな・・・。

平井堅20枚目のシングルにして、珠玉のバラードにしあがっている今作。映画「世界の中心で愛をさけぶ」の主題歌に起用され、80万枚以上のセールスを記録しています。
今回の曲は、どこをどうとってもバラード以外の何物にも聴こえない生粋なる曲。メロディー、歌詞、そして平井堅自身の声質が、高いレベルでマッチしているという、ハイクオリティな仕上がり。
曲調は王道といえるバラード、そして歌声は違和感がない。歌詞は彼女との永遠の別れを経た男の心情を表現。サビでは、もう逢えない彼女を、自分の心の中で思い描くだけでいいという、絶望の後のかすかなる希望。逃避ではない、純粋な愛のかたちを歌っています。
5分半という長さも感じさせない出来。むしろピッタリの長さでしょう。
まず、聴いてみて損はないです。

映画「世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ」の主題歌。
映画の評価はさておき、この曲はいいです。泣けます。

映画の宣伝では空港のシーンで「助けて下さい！」と叫ぶシーンに
使われていますが、実際にはそこでは使われていません。ＥＤですね。
本当にいい声してます。
