京アニのクオリティの高さとフルメタという作品の面白さが見事に合わされてかなりレベルの高い仕上がりになってます。
でも最終話のヴェノムにラムダドライバが搭載されてるにも関わらず不自然な倒され方のヤツが一体いたのには首を傾げました。あとゲイツを倒すときTV版では「南風」が流れてオンエア時かなりハイになったのですがDVD版では違う曲になっていたので萎えました。
駆け足気味の展開に関してはあまり気になりません、寧ろ原作に忠実だと言えます。その後のテッサへのタメ口→学校へ戻る→電車内でのエピローグ辺りは良く出来てたと思います。しかし全体的な構成力不足は否めませんので★4つで。

まずは初めに僕は原作の中で一番好きなのは、
『終わるデイ・バイ・デイ』です。

で、今回のThe Second Raidはアニメだけの要素を入れながらも、
きちんと小説どおりに話が進んでくれたと思います。
（最後のシーンが少しだけ違いますが）

宗介が最後ヴェノムと戦うシーンが原作の中で一番好きなのですが、
ちゃんと原作に近い感じになっていたと思います。
（テッサのタメ口も）

原作ファンで『終わるデイ・バイ・デイ』が好きなら
最後まで見るべきだと思います。

DVDでしかTSR観てなかったので、ようやく全巻揃って嬉しいですね。
なんだか小説に比べて宗介がどんよりした感じですが
どうひっくり返してくれるか楽しみにしています。
