都会的に洗練されたサウンドの粋を極めたピチカート・ファイヴの魅力が、恐ろしいほどの完成度で充溢したアルバムです。タイトルも音楽も最高にカッコいい「また恋をしてしまった」から始まり、パーティの終りを思わせる華やかな終曲「goodbye baby＆amen」に終息する全１２曲、どれも個性的でオシャレな曲ばかり、ベストアルバムと言われても信じてしまうクオリティの高さです。いや寧ろ、寄せ集めのベストアルバムには無い構成感がある分、ベストアルバムを超えたオリジナルアルバムというべきかも知れません。

フリージャズ風のインストロメンタル「Roma」がさりげなく２曲目に差し挟まれているところなど、まさに音楽職人・小西康陽のセンスの結晶ですね。

終期ピチカートの最高傑作です。ありとあらゆるジャンルを飲み込んで、それでも美しくまとまってしまうのは野宮さんのボーカルがあってこそ。

一曲目の「また恋に落ちてしまった」（タイトルがもう最高）から、最後まで、捨て曲なし、ピチカートの美意識が詰まっています。特に初期の名曲「連載小説」のセルフカヴァーと「あなたのいない世界で」（タイトルからして泣ける）が続くところは涙なしでは聴けません。アルバム完成後に解散説が流れたのも頷ける、総決算的アルバムです。

結局はこれでは解散せず、次作「さえらジャポン」で派手にパーティーをして解散、ってとこがまたピチカートらしいところです。

世紀末にぴったりの小粋なピチカートファイブの曲がぎっしり詰め込またシックでおしゃれなジャケットも私のお気に入り。
このCDを聞くたび次こそすてきな部屋を手に入れるぞ、と必ず思う。
それくらい私をうきうきさせる曲ばかりです。
