初心者にとってはなかなかいいかもしれませんが・・
そこそこの腕を持ってる人にとってはダメかも・・です。
COM相手だと自分より長考する。十九路盤だとタッチペンを使うと狙ったとこに打てない。最強もそれほど強い印象はなかったし・・
でも持ち運べて暇な時に気楽にやる程度ならいいかもです。

囲碁を覚えるために購入しましたが、初心者でも十分理解し、楽しめるゲーム操作になっています。ゲームの途中で、囲碁用語の解説や形勢判断が見れますし、相手が「あたり」の場合に、その旨を表示することができるため、次の一手を打つときの参考になります。
コンピュータ対戦の強さのレベルは弱い、標準、強い、最強の4段階ありますが、弱いでも結構手ごわいです。（自分が初心者だからかも・・）
小学生の息子もやっていましたが（もちろん囲碁は初めて）、説明書を読むことなく、一人前の試合を行っていました。
ただ、基盤のマス目を１９×１９の最大にした場合（９×９〜１９×１９まで設定可能）、碁石を置く目が小さいため、タッチペンでは思ったところに置きづらい面があります。（その場合はコントローラーでの操作も可能ですが）
それ以外は特に不便はありません。
これから囲碁をはじめたい人にはいいソフトだと思います。

☆良い点☆
操作しやすい。初心者にはわかりやすい囲碁の基礎など、基本的な説明がされてある。
『形勢判断』で現在の状況がわかる。『待った』で2つ前まで戻れる。
対局中でも『ヘルプ』を開いて『囲碁ガイド』を見れる。
『メニュー』で『次の一手』を使うとコンピューターが考えて次に置けばいい場所を教くれる。
碁盤に自分が置いた場所の数字が履歴に残る。COMが早打ち。
BGMが綺麗。COMの強さが選べる。電源を入れてすぐに対局できる。
いつでもどこでもできる。

★悪い点★
COM（コンピューター）が強すぎて囲碁の知識が少しあるだけという程度の素人（初心者）には太刀打ちできない。
COMを『弱い』にして自分の番で全て『次の一手』に任せても100目差以上で完敗する。
（弱い相手で自分もCOMの考え（COMvsCOM）でも勝てないのことに疑問）
基本的な知識があり、普通に自分の考えた手でやっても100目差以上で負ける。
素人には、用語やゲームの流れは勉強になっても、対局中に学べることが少ない。
囲碁の本を買って読んだ方が勉強になる。劣勢ばかりだと自分の何が悪いのか理解できない。
全く勝てる見込みがないのにこの値段は厳しい。
と、まぁ…あくまで囲碁初心者の私から見た感想ですので経験者の方は参考にならないと思います。
ただ対局を楽しみたいという経験者の方や上級者の方には普通に囲碁ゲームとして満足できるかと…。
素人でも毎日ひたすら打ち続ければCOMの『弱い』相手なら勝てる日がくるかもしれません。
ただ、『ヒカルの碁』のゲームのが指導碁などもあり勉強になるし、最弱から最強までの人数が多いので少しずつ勝てると思います。
ほぼ初心者の方が囲碁を学び始める、又は楽しく打ちたいと思っているなら『ヒカルの碁』がお勧めです…（COMの一手が遅いですが?
