FateのDVDはDBとかと同様のジュエルケース仕様。
でもこのケース、すぐ磨り傷は付くしちょっとした拍子で
落とすとヒビが…謳い文句で「豪華ジュエルケース仕様！」とか
あるけどどこが豪華なのか小一時間問い詰めたい。
大方ボックスに入れる時に通常仕様のDVDパックじゃ１２巻分
収まらないから…って感じの理由で薄いジュエルケースなんだろーな。

肝心のアニメは原作でもチビっ子担当のイリヤが出てきたり
イカしたヘラクレス・バーサーカーが出てきたりと盛り上がってる
とこ悪いんだが作画レベルがダウンしたせいか戦闘シーンには
あんま期待せんほうがええよ…。

アニメからFateをしった俺としては今回の話は結構好きです。 凛と士郎の戦闘がなぜかコミカルに描かれている所が最高です!!
本当なら星5つ付けたいのですがやはり傷つき&割れやすいケースは頂けないので星4つです

原作の内容は全く知りませんので、アニメ作品としてのみの評価です。
聖杯を巡る７人の魔術師と各々のサーヴァントの戦いを描いたバトルアニメ。今巻には４話から６話が収録されています。
前巻で主人公と彼のサーヴァントとの邂逅、聖杯戦争への参加の決意、主人公の性格や、周辺を固めるキャラクター達の紹介を一先ず終え、今巻からは具体的なバトルに突入するわけですが、視聴していてイマイチどうも乗り切れません。
アニメーションとして動きは秀麗だし、画像は綺麗、キャラクターはデザイン・声優ともなかなかに魅力的と、充分に及第点だと思えるのですが、全体に非常に"軽く"感じられてしまいます。
主人公が何度殺されても生き返るのは恐らく裏に練られた設定があるのだろうと理解は出来ますが、あまりにも描写があっさりしすぎていて緊迫感が全くありません。
サーヴァントの設定が「歴史上や神話上で語られえるほどの英霊」と言うのは興味を惹きますが、ロクに魔法も使えない生身の主人公が、その人知を超える力を持つはずのサーヴァントと何とか渡り合ってしまえると言うのも違和感が残ります。
５・６話は士郎対凛と言うマスター同士の戦いを中心に描かれていますが、極めて有能な魔法使いであるはずの凛が、素人同然の士郎と同レベルで争っているのも説得力を欠くし、凛があっさり共闘を申し出るのも、何らかの裏はあるのでしょうがやはり不自然に感じられます。
ここまでの展開は、戦いの持つ凄惨さや宿命の重さ、サーヴァントや魔術師の強さ、凄さ、奥深さと言った要素がうまく表現しきれていないため、視聴している側にしっかり伝わってこない印象ですね。
非日常なバトルを際立たせる為に挿入されているであろう日常シーンは、キャラの個性が良く描かれていて良いと思う反面、ありがちな萌えハーレムアニメの雰囲気も漂っていて、全体のバランスを崩しかねない危うさも感じられますね。
