まさに感動の一言! とりあえずブラピファンは必見です。 時間の流れ、人物の心の葛藤がとても美しく描かれていて、自然と引き込まれてしまいます。 エンディングに流れる曲がまた最高です! 最近良い映画に出会えていない方は、是非この作品をおすすめします。

1シーン1シーンが美しく、どのシーンを切り取っても絵画のように美しい映画でした。
3時間と、ちょっと長いですが、あっというまに感じました。

使われている音楽、歌も良く、特にOver the rainbowは昔ビデオで見た時にはよくわからなかったのですが、DVDでやっとわかりました。ハワイのイズラエルという方(故人)だそうです。

花火のシーンの美しさが特に印象的で、「人生って素晴らしい」と思うお気に入りの映画です。

何も期待せずに観ました。最初、ちょっと期待したのは“死神”の姿だけです。ライブラリーでのガラスの間仕切り越しに写る彼の姿にドキドキしました。悪魔のようなとがった耳の影が見えたりして、それはそれは私の想像力をとってもかきたててくれる情景でした。しかし、しかしですよ！内容は思った以上に深く、最高のできなのにはびっくりしました。ブラピのファンじゃないけど、彼の良さがすごく出ている映画だと思います。素朴な青年の姿のブラピ・・・人間の死を司ることのできる悪魔チックな目付きのブラピ・・・どれをとってもファンにはたまらないでしょうね。それほどステキでした。そして、クレア・フォラーニっていう女優さんはこの映画で初めて観ましたけど、清楚な中にも神秘的な要素が加わわった美しい方ですね。そして、目が白鳥眼の慈愛に満ちた表情ができる数少ない女優さんです。そして、極めつけはアンソニー・ホプキンスです。死を悟った権力者の姿を、時には生への執着をみせながら、また、時には愛情深き父親として、巧みに演じ分けているあたり、さすが！です。
生と死と、そして人間の持つ普遍的な愛情を死神をとおして描いている、秀作の一つだと思いました。
