　シリーズ120万枚突破!!　とありますが、尻切れブーイング絶賛の嵐であった BLUE NOTE も通しての数字で、明らかに本作の影響力は伊達では無いでしょう。
　ただ利益優先の尻切れフィードアウトを網羅した作品群が、幾ら値段が安いとは言え、お店の同じ棚に顔を並べているのを見ると、本作のBEST JAZZ100で良い思いで購入した人が、間違って買って悲しい事にならなければいいな と思うばかりです。（購入する人は確認の上、要注意!!）
　お値段も本シリーズより安い!!と思って安易に飛び付かぬ様に、本来この様な尻切れCDはサンプル品としてただ同然で配布、音楽普及活動などで企業が努力すべき代物、製品として利用し利益を得ようとする物ではないはず。尻切れサンプルで悲しい思いをする人が出来るだけ少なければ良い限りです。
　
　本作は6枚組でフィードアウト無し完奏な上、収録時間は6時間20分とじっくり、たっぷりと堪能出来ます。
ただただ流したり、ジャンル開拓、音楽探訪、知識向上、持ち歩きにと楽しみ方は色々と拡がります。
　曲名を知らなく知る事が出来た、聴いた事はあったが詳細知らず知る事が出来た、お気に入りが増えた、こんな所で出会える事が出来た･･･なんて事があるかも知れません。
　収録に関しても、ただ無造作に100曲を収録している訳では無く、
　　　　　　 ・DISC1 ボーカルジャズ1　・DISC2 ボーカルジャズ2　・DISC3 シネマジャズ　
　　　　　　 ・DISC4 リラックスジャズ　 ・DISC5 ジャズバラッド　　・ DISC6 歴史的ジャズ　　と
　CD毎事に区分けしており大変良い作りとなっており、気分に掛け合わせる事も出来ます。

　この様な音楽普及の機会を企業はもっともっと拡げて欲しい限りだ、利益優先も企業としては大切だろうが何か大切な事を見落としている事も考えて欲しい、本シリーズは好印象で大変好感が持てる。
　ライナーと歌詞が付いてないものが廉価CDに良くあるが、本作BEST　JAZZ100は、ライナーと歌詞が付いており◎、こんな気配りも嬉しい。

今までのブルーノートシリーズは全部途中で切れてて、もっと聞きたきゃ買え（実際ブルーノートの安売りをやっています）みたいな感じでした。しかし今回はほかよりも少し高いですが、完奏しています。６枚組みです。とてもお買い得でパッケージも安いので買って損はないのではないでしょうか。

選曲も大変良く夜のちょっとしたファミリー・パーティーのBGMには最適です。100曲で価格もお値打ちです。ただ覚悟してほしいのは、これさえあればジャズは完璧と思って購入するとあきるのも早いでしょう。何度も繰り返して聴いているうちに自分なりにこの曲はいいな、このヴォーカルの声は素敵と思えば、貴方は次のステップに進んでいくでしょう。そして、ジャズの魅力に深く入っていけるはずです。是非、入門盤としてお試しください。さあ、皆でジャズを流行らせましょうよ！！
