「逢瀬川」に続く4枚目のシングル。タイトル曲は、いつの間にか大人になってしまうことへの戸惑いを、弦楽8重奏をバックに綴ったバラード・ナンバー。カップリングにはグリコCM曲の「逢いたい」を収録。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

2005年末をもって、残念ながら菅原健生(ds)が脱退し、藤井敬之(vo、g)と大久保剛(b)の二人組になった音速ラインの4枚目のシングル。マイナーで切ないメロディを活かす、ゆったりした楽曲には、歌の抑揚も相まって自然と儚い風景が見えてくる。ストリングスを導入したアレンジも盛り上げ役となりつつ新鮮に響く。カップリングはファースト・アルバム『風景描写』に収録されていた「逢いたい」のリミックスと、春の季節らしい物語をアップ・テンポに綴った「卒業」。メランコリックなポップ・チューンは本作でも健在。 (土屋京輔) --- 2006年04月号

2人組となった新生音速ラインの第一弾シングル。
最近はスピードの速い曲が続いていましたが、今回はどれもゆったりとした感じの曲が収められています。
ノリノリになって聞くというより何回も聞いてじっくり味わって切なくなる感じ。ナツメは名曲だと思います。
ただ｢逢いたい｣はもっとアレンジしてほしかった。正直アルバムとの違いが良くわからないです。

5月にはまたシングルも発売されるみたいだし、そちらも期待ですね。

昨年の COUNTDOWN JAPAN 04/05 をきにドラムの方が脱退という形になってしまってこの先、音速ラインはどうなるか心配だったけど今までと変わらずいい曲を出していってくれそうです。

カップリングの"逢いたい"がアルバムの"逢いたい"とあまり代わり映えしていなかったので星４つ。

次のシングルにも期待です!!

音速ラインは今年から２人になるのですが、彼らがマイペースで良い作品を送りだしてくれることは間違いないと思います。
期待大ということで星５つ。
