何といっても（８）carolですよ。
「ゲット・ヤー・ヤー・ヤズ・アウト」でミック・テイラーが奏でる流麗なギターも良いですが、パンクそのもののスタジオバージョンの方こそ彼らの本領発揮でしょう。チャック・ベリー御大も真っ青？
キースが「初期のアルバムでは、２チャンネルでいかにいい音を出すかに腐心した」という趣旨の発言をしていたと記憶していますが、音質はともかく、若さを感じさせるいい演奏です。
むろん、（２）（３）（４）（９）など聴きどころ満載。なお、この版ではmonaが入っていませんので、お買い求めになる時はよく確認なさることをお勧めします。

荒削りでダーティーな彼らなりのブルースは、まさしく“パンク”!!
カバー曲で固められてるのにしっかり「ローリングストーンズ」の作品になっちゃうんだから摩訶不思議。どうやらこいつら、ただのチンピラじゃないらしい。

当時はマスコミも世間様方も非難しまくったけど、今では“英国ロック史の原点”だとさ。それがどうだか分からないけど、オレの大事なレコードである事は確かだ。
HEY MONA!! 66号道路をブッ飛ばしな!!
