知ってる人は皆知っている名作・タイトー黄金の城が遊べるだけでも、十分価値がある。しかも、その移植度が…結構高い！
キィ･レスポンスは非常に良好。
ポロリ、棍棒、武器楯破壊、レッドソード、音声、屏乗りなど尽く再現されている。
敵攻略法も、大体、そのままだ。
一面の背景が、ミョーに暗いのが少しｱﾚだが、全体的な完成度に比べれば、ごく些細なことだといえる。

影伝はタイメモ版に比べ、敵の攻撃が非常にヌルく、レスポンスが良好なので、(良くも悪くも)とても簡単になっている。
音質に関しては、タイメモに一歩譲る。

両アレンジ版に関しては、好みもあると思うが、オマケ程度に考えた方が良いだろう(私にはあまり魅力が感じられなかった)。

総合して、充分、良製品だと言える。
ただ、コントローラが小さすぎるのと、パッド部の形状･耐久性が多少気になる。
今後の同系商品では、その辺のところを考慮してもらいたく、星４つとする。しかし、これは限りなく５つ星に近い４である。
