「箱根八里の半次郎」〜「番場の忠太郎」をてがけた
松井由利夫×水森英夫コンビの待ちに待った新曲です。
「剣の道」を説く歌ではあるものの、ジャケット写真の
真っ直ぐな視線に、「歌の道」を突き進むきよしくんの
新たな決意を改めて感じました。

この曲の「敵は己の内にあり」という歌詞が好きという
きよしくん。「甘えれば甘えただけの自分になるけれど、
頑張れば頑張っただけ自分に還ってくるし、回りも変わって
くれる。だから…」「この歌詞にめぐり合えて幸せ」と、
新歌舞伎座のステージで話してくれました。
デビュー７年目を迎え、日々頑張るきよしくんの口から、
まだまだ頑張る宣言を聞いて胸が熱くなりました。
どこまで彼は一生懸命なのでしょう…
昨年一年いろんな体験を重ね、幾回りも大きくなって
王道演歌に戻ったきたきよしくん。まさに水を得た魚のよう…
司会の西寄ひがしさんの曲紹介で「凛々しく、男らしく、
誠実に…」とありましたが、この曲でさらに雄雄しく
羽ばたいてくれると信じています。

カップリングの「きよしの森の石松」はご存知「きよしの森の
石松・初恋道中」の、思い出のために用意された曲ですね。
新宿コマ・中日劇場・新歌舞伎座と連日満員、計３ヶ月もの
劇場公演に行った人たち皆が、この歌を聞くたびに、爽やかに
若き日の森の石松を演じたきよしくんを思い起こすことでしょう。
「だけど可愛い、だけど可愛い男だね」歌詞の最後にある
このフレーズはきよしくんそのも…
今年もキュートで愛されるきよしくんのまま、体に気をつけて
活躍してくださいね。

氷川きよしくん、2006年度のレ○ード大賞受賞、おめでとうさん！！！

2006年度のレ○ード大賞は、まともに選ばれ、実力があるし、選ばれるべき人に

受賞が決まって、めっちゃ嬉しいでっせ〜！！！

ここ数年この賞の質の低下をまざまざと見せ付けられて来ましたが、

今年は、正当に歌手の歌唱力とその表現力などを見極めて、賞を取るべき人が

取ったと言うのが正直な感想ですな！！！

この歌は、男の生き様を上手く表現した、そして、メロディの美しさと相俟って、

この曲を、演歌界、歌謡界の名曲にしているし、氷川君の今後のコンサートなどの、

スタンダード・ナンバーになることは、必至でっせ〜！！！

これからも、氷川君には、将来の演歌界を背負って立つ人ですので、

お体に気を付けて、音楽活動を頑張って下さいませ。
