購入してよかったです。タイトルに記しましたが
家でのんびりしたいときに流しています。
ドラクエの特徴である戦闘シーンの楽曲が無いからでしょうか
非常にリラックスして聴く事ができます。
ゲームで流れる音楽そのものを聴きたい方には交響曲版が
出ているわけですからお薦めしません。
でも、ちょっとだけ大人向けにアレンジされたドラクエを聴きたい
方には本当にお薦めのアルバムです。

序曲から始まり、王宮四連続の流れが心地良いです。
フィールドから、町のシーンが気に入りました。（木漏れ日は本当に良い）
１２曲目の武器商人トルネコは原曲以上に良い雰囲気が出てます。
そして、エンディング４連発でクライマックスに達します。（結婚ワルツは実際の結婚式で使えるかもしれません）
最後は序曲のマーチで締め。

弦楽がいまいちだった人にも金管はお薦めです。

色々な聴き方や感想があると思いますが、原曲や作曲者についての批評や批判はこのCDに求めるべきではないでしょう。編曲なのですから。

それよりも、この金管五重奏の演奏技術・合奏能力の高さは国内最高レベルだと思います。
企画物の寄せ集めメンバーではなく東京都交響楽団のブラス・セクションという第一線で活躍しつづけているいわば「仲間」なのだから、音色の統一感やアンサンブルのかけひき（お互いの癖まで知っているであろう）も抜群だと思います。
編曲者は他にも多数の編曲を手がけていて（編曲魔の異名を持つらしいですが）、トッププレイヤーからみた編曲の視点というのでしょうか…、金管楽器の可能性を存分に発揮した一枚になっていると思います。

この前の弦楽四重奏のが個人的にイマイチだったので、どうかな？と思ったんですが、イイじゃないですか☆

ブラス独特の哀愁やユーモラスな表現が生きています。
個人的にはフルオーケストラ・アンサンブルの中で埋もれがちな「チューバ」の表情が丁寧に録音されていて、単なる企画物以上の意気込みを感じました。

全曲アレンジはメンバーの方がやっておられますが1,9,10,12曲目が秀逸で、面白い発想だなぁと感心する曲も何曲か・・・

変に「感動」とかを求めなければ十分楽しめますね、
お茶を飲みながらゆったり聴くようなアルバムです。

比較的最近の曲が多いようですが、17曲でこの価格なので「四重奏」が
消化不良だった方にはお勧め出来ます。
