ドラマCD,フォトストーリーブック共に内容はPC用ソフト「英雄伝説6空の軌跡」の復習、「英雄伝説空の軌跡SC」の予習を目的としています。

ドラマCDの内容は主人公を含むプレイヤーキャラクターへ某記者（前作をプレイした人ならわかるはず）がインタビューするという形式で各キャラクターが過去を振り返ります。基本的に「ゲーム中の出来事をなぞるだけなのですが、終盤に本編では語られていないファンならニヤリとするような内容があります。と言っても本編に直接影響するほどのものでもないのですが、知っていれば本編がより楽しくなることは間違いありません。

フォトストーリーブックは商品紹介の通り、全ページ書き下ろしイラストを使用し、主人公エステルの視点で前作を語る内容です。こちらはそれほど目新しい内容はなかったと思います。

前作をプレイしていなくもこの2つがあればある程度は理解できますが、広く浅くと言った感じですので、やはり前作をプレイした上で「英雄伝説空の軌跡SC」に臨むべきかと思います。
