   かつてキョンシーとコイサンマンが共演するとんでもない映画を作った香港映画界らしい、ヒット作便乗映画。基本的には兄弟弟子の対立劇なので、“少林”の部分はほんの少しだけしかないのが残念。特殊メイクがめちゃくちゃ安っぽすぎたり、CGが甘かったりと、B級映画色が濃厚。だがベテランのゴードン・リュウが本作で復活など、カンフー映画好き（香港映画好き含む）には思わずほくそ笑むような、たまらない1本となっている。（横森 文）

1.0 out of 5 stars 大作キョンシー映画としては史上最低, 2006/3/12
物凄い数のキョンシー衣装と、
CGの制作費だけでも結構な予算を割いているように見える。
しかしそれらと主要キャスト以外は低予算映画で、
ゾンビやキョンシー大魔王の特殊メイクは失笑物。

妙に明るい照明やクスリとも笑えないギャグシーンに、
伏線らしき意味ありげなシーンも全くの無駄な場面だったりして、
とにかく全てにおいて作り込みが足らない作品。

チャーフィーvsルイスファンも
あまり印象に残らないカンフーシーンで、
チャーフィ好きが買うのすらオススメしません。
重度のキョンシーマニアやゾンビマニアだけ買いましょう。
私はどちらも好きですが、それでも後悔しました。
