SF王朝グランド乙女チックロマン『舞乙HiME』を彩る音楽は、See-Sawで活躍する傍ら、
千葉紗子の楽曲プロデュースやFiction Junction Yuuka、TVアニメ『MADLAX』などの音楽を手掛けるサウンドメイカー“梶浦由記”。『舞-乙HiME』の佳境に入った後半部分のストーリーを見事に後ろだてる注目のサウンドトラックアルバム第2弾！

2005年10月からテレビ東京系でスタートした『舞-HiME』の続編作品のサントラ盤。音楽を担当しているのは、See-Sawで活躍するかたわら、TVアニメ『MADLAX』の音楽などを手がける梶浦由記。ストーリーと絶妙にマッチしたサウンドが聴ける。

昨年と比べてクライマックスの追い込みが更にシビアになっている「舞-乙HiME」
前作は割と定番シーンに定番曲、という使われ方が多く印象に残りやすかったのだが
今作は、戦闘シーンの少なさからかその辺はちょっと損をしている。
とはいえ、アルバムとして聴いた場合は、美しい曲からダークなのまで幅広く
かつ、スケールの大きい曲が多いので安心して楽しめる。
特に「舞-HiME」の二枚目と比べてもドロドロ系の曲は少な目なので安心して買えるかも？
１枚目で洩れていた追っかけコミカルや#1でのニナのマテリアライズも入っていてまずは一安心。
定番、貝田由里子による美しいボーカル曲も５曲たっぷりで大満足。
クライマックスの盛り上げに大いに貢献しているのは御覧の皆様には周知の事実。
特にメジャー版「目覚め」？の「聖乙女の祈り」がどう使われるか？期待をそそられる。
例によって未見の人が買ってもO.Kだが、どうせなら本編と聴き比べながら…がベスト！
今回も迷わずオススメできる１枚だ。
