人生讃歌。「くだらねえ」とぼやきながら、それでも毎朝決まった様に
いつもの満員電車に乗らざるを得ない、俺の様なサラリーマンにも響く
歌を歌い続けているのがイースタンユースだ。

近作は、彼等自身が坂本商店を離れて、新たに３人で「裸足の音楽社」
を設立したという背景もあり、彼等自身への「決意表明」と「激」では
ないだろうか。そして、それは同じように新たな場所を求めて、彷徨い
ながらも一歩踏み出そうとしている、日本中のあらゆる「おっさん達」
への讃歌でもあるのだ。

１曲目「荒野に進路を取れ」から５曲目の「非力なる者」への流れは
まさに、これから荒野へ片道切符で歩き出す非力なる者への希望の歌
である。一緒に歌いながら泣いた。

良かったです。吉野さん本人が言っていたように、eastern youthの持っている苦みの部分が、前に出ている時期なんだと思います。人によっては、物足りなく感じる方もいるのかなと思うけれど、その分じわじわと胸に残ります。名曲、あります。声の良さも健在です。今まで聴いてきた人もやっぱり今の彼らの音楽を聴いて欲しい。初めて聴くなら、個人的に前作ドン・キホーテか、感受性をお勧めしますが。

「365歩のブルース」
なんと心地よいタイトルでしょうか。
毎度の事ながら彼らの音楽には感服するばかりですが、
このアルバムを聞く前に私は精神的ストレスから、
働く事さえままならない状態でした。

毎日が休日、俗に言うニートです。
毎日毎日休日、働きたいけれど怖い。
まさに地獄でした。

そんな時このアルバムを聞いて、
また奮い立たされたのです。
「迫りくる闇の中にこそ、探していたモノがあるはずだ」
この言葉を聴いて、いてもたってもいられなかった私は
でっかい画用紙にこの言葉をマジックで書き、
部屋に貼りました。毎日毎日それを見てから仕事へ行っていました。
今もそうしています。そして探していたモノ、
ほんの少しだけ、見つけたつもりです。
私事ばかりで話題がそれていました、これではレビューになりませんね。

旅の始まりから終わりまで、
なんとも味わい深い、コンセプトアルバムだと思います。
音がシンプルになったぶん、歌詞の重みがものすごい濃厚です、
そしてラストを飾るタイトル曲。
拳を握らずにはいられません。

この素晴らしい音楽が多くの人に触れてもらいたいと、
ただ、願うのみです。
