ひとつのアクションゲームとして見ても残念すぎる出来です。
「ＭＯＮＯシステムによって遊び方にパターンが無くなり、千差万別好きなように楽しめる」
的な発言をプロデューサーがしている事を知って唖然としました。
確かにいろんなＭＯＮＯが出てきます。
がしかし、プレイヤーがする事は結局ツタでくっつけて敵にぶつけるだけです。
ＭＯＮＯの形が変わっただけでやる事はまったく一緒。
しかもＭＯＮＯをぶつけて敵をパニック状態にした上で攻撃しないと成長アイテムが出てこない。
でもボスは成長アイテムを取って行かないと絶対に勝てない強さ。
よってプレイ時間の九割以上を延々とこの作業をするだけになっています。
それに加えて異様に見づらくなる視点に、ほとんど意味を成していない簡易マップ。
これを「おもしろい」と思って世の中に出した開発者達の考えは、私達の理解を超えています。

ゲームを始めるまでは聖剣伝説の続編ということで期待していました。
1章をクリアして懸命に育てたものがすべて無駄になることを知りました。
2章に至って魔法が消耗品で回復手段も限られることに気づきました。
4章を経過して以前のマップに戻れない事を知りました。
5章に入るまで買い物が出来ない事を知りませんでした。
クリアしてもう二度とやる気が起きませんでした。
メーカーブランド、ナンバリングタイトル、ゲームシステム、あらゆる面で裏切られました。

間違いなく初心者向けではないです。
中古で買ったほうがいいです。まだまだ値段下がりそうですし。

第3章のトロッコが一番辛かったです。視点をトロッコの向きに自動で追ってくれないので、向き変えようとするとトロッコから落ちる、の繰り返し。

今聖剣伝説2やり直したらこちらのほうが遥かにおもしろかったです。
スクウェアだからと気軽に手がだせなくなりました。
