桜の季節に始まり、また、桜の季節に幕を閉じる。
かわいいかわいい妹達の、たわいない一年間の物語。全６巻。

郷愁のようなものを感じるのはどうしてだろう。
遠い昔のような、実はもう誰もいないような、
誰かの懐かしい記憶を見せてもらっているような感覚がする。
淡く霞みがっかた背景はつねに優しい。

原作まんがほどアクが強くなく、短いエピソードを上手く繋げて
よくここまできれいにまとめたと思う。
最終話の後半だけをテレビ放送で見て、ＤＶＤを全巻購入、
原作まんが購入と、順番が逆、を私が久々にした作品。
作画監督による、場面抜き出しセル画風パッケージが
なぜかあまりかわいくないので極力、
１巻・４巻の収納ＢＯＸ付き限定版を手に入れるべき。

5巻までのジャケットにあまり可愛というか、インパクトを感じなかったのですが、今巻はとてもいい雰囲気です。
あまりに屈託なく笑っているので、何時間見てても見飽きません。ブックレット内のイラストも秀逸。
ここにきて私の中で坂井九太氏の評価が急上昇した感じです。
本編は、春になっても千佳美羽が小学生なのには強い違和感が残りますが、
いつも通りのたわいのない日常風景を描いてくれたのには好感が持てます。
ラスト辺りの演出にある種の感動を覚えたのは、私だけではないはず。

　どんなアニメシリーズだろうと、最終回に求められる物はそのアニメシリーズで訴えかけたい物の本質を全て叩きつける事。
　それが出来ていれば、最終回と言うものはその時点で100点です。
　このアニメシリーズが訴えかけたかった物は何だったのか？
　小さな女の子達のかわいらしさか？そのかわいい日常か？
　違う。
　それは、「極めて重要な付属要素」に過ぎません。
　本質はずばり、「純粋な真心」だったと判断しています。
　最終話第１２話のサブタイトルが「プレゼント」ですが、茉莉に送ろうとした本に込められた物。そして、最後に出てきた「物達」に込められた物。（ネタバレだから当然、書きません）
　その最後の部分だけ、コミックスに無いオリジナルストーリーで終わる訳ですが、そこが見事にその「本質」を演出しきれていました。
　実に良かった・・・
