　０６年３月発表、癒し系ギター・デュオの大御所ゴンチチの２０枚目（？サウンドトラックをのぞく。）となるオリジナルアルバム。

　ゴンチチは、主にナイロン弦ギターでメロディーを担当するゴンザレス三上と、主にスティール弦ギターでリズムパートを担当するチチ松村による世界でもユニークなデュオです。

　本作は、近年の癒し、オーガニックブームのお手本のような、快適この上のない作品です。
　タイトルも和名で統一されていて、往年の名作「冬の日本人」を想起させます。
　しかし、曲調の方は、「冬の日本人」のように日本、日本してはおらず、むしろ無国籍。
　サポート陣には、最近ライブでも行動を共にする、桑野聖ストリングス（Strings）や楠均(Drums)らの名前があったり、アレンジに羽毛田丈史の名前が見られます。
　収録曲の中では、コンガのイントロが耳に残るM-1:「忘我の調べ」が一番ですね。

　ただ、ゴンチチが首都圏に日帰りライブを強行していた頃からのリスナーである妻は、本作を聞いて一言、「耳に残らないなあ」。
　確かに、初期の作品にあったような、「驚き」や「感動」を期待すると、肩すかしを食らうかもしれません。
　そちらを期待する人には、ゴンザレス三上の最新ソロ「green shadow,white door」がお勧めです。
