5.0 out of 5 stars 一瞬を激しく壮絶に生きた、ギャングのカップル, 2006/3/2
不況に苦しむ1930年代、テキサス。車を盗もうとしていた刑務所帰りのクライドを窓から見つけたウェイトレスのボニー、それが二人の出会いだった。お互いに惹かれるものを感じた二人は、強盗を働いて町を出る。順調に犯行を重ねる二人は、やがてお尋ね者として追われる身に。・・・
銀行強盗を働き、警官や店員を容赦なく殺したと言われるボニーとクライド。２人とクライドの兄夫婦、そして下っ端の少年ら「バローズ・ギャング」の犯行が、軽快なテンポで描かれています。悪気など全く感じている様子もなく、むしろ楽しんで犯行を重ねているその姿に、社会への息苦しさや鬱憤をこういう形で晴らしていたのかな、なんて考えてしまいました。愚かしく見えても、これもまた彼らにとっては人生を謳歌している瞬間だったんだと思います。それだけに、久々に会ったボニーの母から「逃げ回って生きるしかない」と言われて、初めて自分達のしたことの重大さに気づく２人の場面が印象的でした。
フェイ・ダナウェイの洗練された魅力や、笑顔でどんな女性も物にできそうな（実生活ではそうだったとか）ウォーレン・ビーティの色男ぶりなど、キャスティングも映画の成功に大いに貢献していると思います。彼らの行く先に破滅が待っているのがわかっているのに見入ってしまうのは、一瞬の間でも激しく壮絶に生きた彼らに魅せられてしまうからだと思いました。

伝説のラスト、究極の愛の表現。
そこに向かって疾走するストーリー。
こまかな描写もよくできていて味わい深い。
何度みてもあきません。最高です。
