映像も良質、オペラ座ならではの舞台装置や衣装の配色のセンスなどもよく、大変見ごたえのある作品です。ヌレエフ最後の作品となったバヤデール、キャストも最高だと思います。
ニキヤ：イザベル・ゲラン
ソロル：ローラン・イレール
ガムザッティ：エリザベット・プラテル
苦行僧：リオネル・ドラノエ　高僧：フランシス・マロヴィック　黄金の像（ブロンズ・アイドル）ウィルフリード・ロモリ　影の王国のソリスト　アニエス・ルテステュ、クロチルド・ヴァエール、ナタリー・リケ

演技、内面性、技術、美しさ、コール・ド・バレエにおける美しさ、細かいパの正確さ、ニキヤとガムザッティの美しく壮絶な対決の場面、ソロルのノーブルさどの場面も見ごたえがあります。ロモリの黄金の像も良かったです。
ガムザッティのヴァリエーションはイタリアン・フェッテのないもので、宮殿崩壊場面まで至らない版ですのでそちらを観たい場合は英国ロイヤルのラ・バヤデールをお薦めします。
オペラ座のバヤデール、こんな素晴らしい舞台の映像がDVDで3000円未満となって購入できるのは素晴らしいと思います。

　まさに藝術の国が生んだバヤデール。主役のゲランは、二キアという難しい役柄を、巫女らしく神秘的に、不吉なまでに美しく踊っている。ダンサー陣の層が厚いのもさすがオペラ座で、エトワールやソリストたちが高度なテクニックを次々と披露すれば、可憐な女性たちが花を添え、さらにオーケストラの低弦のような迫力ある男性の群舞が、作品にいっそうの深みを与えている。
　いたるところで見られるのが、振付師、演出家としてのヌレエフのすばらしさだ。一幕の苦行僧の踊りは煩悩を連想させるし、第三幕の幻想的な「灯明の踊り」は、はかない命の象徴のようだ。細部にまで行き届いたヌレエフの演出は、華麗な舞台装置や衣装とあいまって、夢のような舞台を作り出している。総体的に質が高く、ソリストたちに魅力のほとんどを頼っている英・米のカンパニーとはあきらかに一線を画する、これは単なるバレエというより芸術作品だ。

Dancer's　Dreamのシリーズと同じ内容のようです。
ニキヤのイザベル・ゲランって、すっごく綺麗な人ですね。
映像のクリアさも超キレイで見やすいです。
これのほかにラ・バヤデールはロイヤルのをＶＨＳで観ましたが、こちらのオペラ座のは重さ暗さを感じない、綺麗な印象で見れました。
（ロイヤルもキャストとか良いのですが、なんだか観てて重かったんですよね・・・）
衣装もさすがフランスなのでしょうか、凝ってます、おしゃれだと思います。
お勧めします＾＾
