アニメ『名探偵コナン』のエンディング・テーマだった「世界 止めて」に続くシングル。タイトル曲はアニメ『メルヘヴン』のエンディング・テーマで、ちょっと切ない春の別れと旅立ちを歌ったしっとりとしたバラードだ。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

通算6枚目のシングルは、日本的な情緒を桜に託したバラード・ナンバーで、柔らかく包み込むように、繊細かつメロディアスな雰囲気をうまく表現している。GARNET CROWのAZUKI七が歌詞を提供しているのも、万全のバックアップ体制といえる。これまでに、本人の選曲によるカヴァー・アルバムでも驚くべきセンスのよさを見せていたが、カップリングにおける自身の作詞作曲ナンバーでもその片鱗を披露。シンガー・ソングライター的なアプローチにも意欲のあることが窺える。落ち着きのある、ゆるやかな感性を紡いでいくのがうまい人だ。 (高橋宏文) --- 2006年02月号
