ポーランドの若きデス・メタルの雄たちの4th。

1曲目の冒頭から畳み掛けるような分厚いサウンドが心地よい。
初期の作品に比べずいぶんと洗練されモダンなサウンドになった。

緩急をつけた展開や複雑なリズムパターンなど、Meshuggahあたりのポリリズムも見せるが
あくまでアグレッシブさと疾走感に重点を置いたブルータル・デスメタル。
複雑な構成の楽曲と重厚なサウンドで、聞き手に圧倒的な威圧感で迫る。
途中にはさまれたダウン・テンポの曲の配置もうまく、飽きさせない。
これでメンバーの平均年齢が20代前半とは、まったく驚きである。

緻密で機械的なサウンドスタイルではあるが、Suffocationらとは違い
スラッシュ・メタルや90年代メタル、グラインド・コアからの影響も感じさせる
スタイルでありオリジナリティも高い。
デスメタルの重鎮達が気概を見せる中、今後に大いに期待のできる若手だ。

07年のロシア・ツアーにて、ツアーバスが事故に遭いドラマーが死去。
ヴォーカルも療養中だそう。
期待が集まる中の、不幸な事故が痛ましい。
残されたメンバーには、ぜひがんばって続けてもらいたいと思う。

ポーランドの若きデスメタラー、４枚目にしてついに日本デヴュー。
このバンドは３rdのみ聴いてない為、前作とは比較は出来ないが、1stはよりストレートなブルータルデスな印象が強い為、２ndに近い印象ですね。
速さだけに頼らず、非常にテクニカルでブルータルながらも聴かせるアルバムだと思います。
今作でも、カチカチしたサウンドが個人的には少し気になりますが、２ndで聴かれたドラムのバシャバシャした音だけは改善したように思われます。
とはいえ、非常にかっこいいですよ。
これだけのテクニックがありながらも、まだ平均年齢が２３歳だと？
デヴュー時は当然１０代だということを考えれば恐ろしいし、中でもドラマーのテクにはさらに恐ろしい。
日本人じゃありえないと思う。

これはテクニカル系のデスでは名作でしょう。
テクニカルと言っても速いとか速弾きすげーとかそう
いった類いのものではないのでは悪しからず。
何と言ってもリフと曲構成の展開がいい。
デスメタルは速さに重点を置くのが主流になってきま
したがとってもヘヴィーなんですよこのバンド。
星五つつけてもいいですがまだまだ伸びると思いますので今回は四つで。

ドラマーに不運がありましたが復活を心から願ってます。
