『Home[1997~2000]』『Going[2001~2005]』リリース、2005年7月に横浜日産スタジアムで行われたスペシャルなライブ”Go Home”と大きな節目の'05年を終え、新たなゆずストーリーの幕開けとなる本作。
29歳になったふたりから放出した楽曲は、非常に個々のパーソナルな視点と感情からなる楽曲でありながら、まるで共感という名のリボンで人と人を、想いと想いを、そしてゆずとリスナーの心を結ぶ、新たなゆずスタンダード曲になりえる強さと輝きにみちた名曲ばかり！

1年半ぶりのオリジナル・アルバム。2005年11月に発表したシングル(4)(11)を収録。(2)は2006年で30歳になる岩沢、2007年1月になる北川のリアルな心情を歌い、全体的にも共感の持てる内容に仕上がった。初回特殊ジャケット仕様、DVDにはアルバムのメイキング映像を収録。

ゆずのアルバムはいつも買ってますが、最近あんまりだなあと思ってましたが
このアルバムはどの曲もとても良かった。
特に”一っ端”なんかは初期のゆずを感じた。

「すみれ」が「ゆず」の等身大の作品だったなら、「リボン」は「北川悠仁」「岩沢厚治」の等身大の作品だと思う。

「超特急」のように駆け抜けてきた今までをベストアルバムでまとめ、新しいゆずが動きだしたという感じ。でも「しんしん」「ダスティンホフマン」「冷めたコーヒー」など、どこか懐かしい曲が多い。このアルバムが昔からのファンに支持されるのも頷ける。「栄光の架橋」を渡った先には見慣れた景色が広がっていたようだ。自然体の「リアル」な曲が詰まっている。「リボン」なのに飾っていない(うまいこと言った)。
詞のことを言えば「もうすぐ30才」は「北川悠仁」の、「一っ端」は「岩沢厚治」の今を表している気がする。ほんと名曲だなあ。
そして二人とも歌が巧くなった。北川の声はしっかりし、岩沢の声は安定した。詞が良くなったせいか。

いや〜名盤ですな。

ゆずの「らしさ」が本当によく分かる最高のアルバムです！！今までゆずを聞いたことのない人もすごく入りやすい曲ばかりだと思います。前作の１があまり好きではなかったので今回は期待しまくっていたのですが、期待以上です！わりと岩沢曲のほうが好きなのですが、「もうすぐ30才」「ダスティンホフマン」など悠仁曲もすごくいいです！
