これまでのシングル４曲もすべて収録されている待望のアルバム。
プロデューサーや参加アーティストも豪華（ゴスペラーズ黒沢薫、
川口大輔、古内東子、ライムスターMummy-D…など）ですが
どのアーティストとも違和感なく素敵にコラボしています。

Ｋの魅力は甘く美しい声、自然で表現豊かな日本語、ルックスe.t.c.
いろいろですが　奇をてらうことなく誠実に作品に込められた思いを
伝えようという姿勢が感じられるところが一番だと思います。
今、純粋に歌声とメロディーの質の高さで勝負できる人は貴重です。

このアルバムはバラードももちろん素敵ですが、RAPが入る曲や
R&B色の強い作品もかっこよく歌いこなしていて楽しめます。
Only Humanなどこれまでのシングルも収録されているので
少しでも興味のある方には聴いてみることをお勧めいたします。

ただ歌うためだけに、この海を越えてきた・・・このキャッチコピーが多くを語る必要がないくらい、歌手としての実力をもの語っています。
JーPOPにかけるスピリットがこの一枚に込められていると思います。切ないバラードもココロにしみますが、他のジャンルのＫさんの魅力も堪能できそうですね。一度聴くと忘れられなくなる歌声です。彼の表現力はこのままいったらどうなってしまうのか・・・想像がつかないくらい素晴らしい！

KさんにしてもRainさんにしても、またm-floとコラボレートをしたことで個人的に記憶に残っているフィソンさんにしても言えることなのですが、韓国R&B系シンガーの歌唱力は邦人シンガーと比べても生半可なモノではなく、率直に実力豊富な方が多いのだと感じております。
声自体も大変魅力的な方が多く、Kさんに関しては帯に「a voice from the heaven」とまで記載されていて、柔らかくも少し半透明で切ない声色が耳に優しく大変心地がよいです（・・発音矯正の努力もされていて、日本語の響きまでもがとてもナチュラルで美しいです）。
伸びやかな高音発声や難解な本場米国R&B的ビブラートを表現出来る韓国人シンガーもKさんを含み多く、国内で言えばF.O.H.やSkoop On Somebody、ゴスペラーズなど本格派ボーカルグループにも全く引けを取らない、強い実力・存在感を感じることが出来ます。
Kさんの曲調はそれら３グループや、久保田利伸・MISIAさんなど２０代後半以降の落ち着いた世代・雰囲気のモノが主軸で、私としてはジャストにフィットする心地よい作品が多いです。
しかし逆に考えると、１０代〜２０代前半の音楽に対し衝動的で情熱的なファン・リスナーを取り込め維持出来ているかが疑問であり、雰囲気・音楽性がやや大人し目で刺激にかけるモノになってしまっているとも感じております。それ故、最近チャートで彼の名前を聞かなくなってしまった原因も、音楽性も含んだマーケティング面やヒットドラマ以外でのタイアップの不成功などが大きく関わっているのではないか？と、クールな分析もしてしまっている状況でございます（・・ウィキペディアでは実際の売上げや数字を確認することも出来ます）m(_ _)m
古内東子さんや黒沢薫さん（ゴスペラーズ）、MUMMY-Dさん（ライムスター）が作家やパフォーマーとして参加している曲もあり、リスナー層の狙いはそもそも３０代前後ということになってしまうのかもしれませんが、それにしては彼自身の年齢は若く、お母さん世代の韓流ファンを取り込むのか、どの世代にポイントを置いているのかが不明瞭でもあります。
私が何故この様な非音楽的な話をしてしまうのかというと、Kさんの声が単純に素晴らしく、出来るだけその才能を日本で発揮し続けて頂きたいと率直に考えているからなのです。
韓流スターを目指すか、アーティストに徹するか、もしくはBoAさんの様に若い世代に強く支持される存在になるのか。
マネー問題と切り離せない音楽業界での立ち位置に、今後も注目をさせて頂きたいと思っております。
・・因みに、2ndアルバムの方が曲のバラエティも豊富で、R&Bのグルーヴ感や刺激・情熱を強く感じるので、本作は４点とさせて頂きますm(_ _)m
