心の戦士はアンジェラらしい強い言葉が特長的です。TODAYのカバーも素敵ですが、何といってもEYES ON ME。ワシントンDC時代、酒場でピアノを弾きながら歌っていたというアンジェラ自身の経験と重なるかのような詩の内容。シンガソングライターとしてのアンジェラの素晴らしさはさることながら、この曲では純粋に歌声とピアノで勝負。シンガーとしての表現力にしびれます。彼女が作った曲でないにもかかわらず、私の中ではアンジェラのベスト３に入るほどいい曲だと思ってます。

「心の戦士」についてはAメロがほんとどっかで聞いたことがある感じだけどそんなことよりも、堂々とした歌いっぷりとピアノの弾き語り。この路線は大変だと思うけどアンジェラさんなら大丈夫な気がします。ボーナスの「Eyes On Me」もオリジナルを凌ぐすばらしい作品になっていると思います。地声から裏声の抜けがほんといいです。うまいだけでなく'歌'を大事にしてくれるアーティストです。がんばってほしいと思います。

アメリカでの弾き語りライブなど下積みも時代もあっただけあって、セカンドシングルでも、素晴らしいクオリティだと思います。
彼女の魅力は、スケールの大きな歌声であり、ピアノの弾き語りというスタイルも好きです。
「心の戦士」では特にその力強さが印象的です。

DVD映像は、「心の戦士」ミュージック・ビデオは、アルバム「HOME」初回特典DVDに収録されているものと同じものですが、
「ファイナルファンタジーXII」プレミア・ムービーfeaturing "Kiss Me Good-Bye"は、
「Kiss Me Good-Bye」や「HOME」のDVDに収録されているものとは別のバージョンのものです。
